HYPROV (pronounced hip-rawv), the hit show that has sold out venues across Canada, America and the United Kingdom, is returning with the "Yes, It’s Real” Tour!
Stunning audiences throughout North America and Europe and making them ask “Is this real?”, the duo is set to prove it. The live show, which has been called “hilarious and fascinating" by Time Out New York, combines hypnosis and improv for a one-of-a-kind comedy experience.

The 90-minute show combines hypnosis and improv–two art forms that have mystified and entertained fans, skeptics and everyone in between. The evening begins with Mecci welcoming 20 volunteers on stage to be hypnotized. The most receptive to hypnosis then join Mochrie to improvise the rest of theshow, while hypnotized. In the hands of two experts and solely crafted from the volunteers’ and audiences uninhibited, unconscious minds, each show is an entirely original and completely unforgettable theatrical experience.
About the hosts:
Asad Mecci is a world-renowned hypnotist and peak performance coach whose work has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The New Yorker, BBC, MTV, and Entertainment Tonight. He co-created HYPROV (Improv Under Hypnosis) with comedy icon Colin Mochrie, earning sold-out engagements across North America and Europe, an Off-Broadway run, and a Las Vegas residency. In 2024, Mecci collaborated with Rufus Wainwright on An Exploration of Hypnotic Sound, an innovative album blending music and hypnosis. He has also coached elite athletes, advised major corporations, and collaborated on visualization techniques that supported Olympic figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu’s gold-medal performances.
Colin Mochrie is an internationally acclaimed improviser best known for Whose Line Is It Anyway?, appearing in every episode of the U.S. series and entertaining audiences in more than 100 countries. He has toured worldwide with fellow comedian Brad Sherwood and performed with orchestras across North America in The Second City Guide to the Symphony. Mochrie is also the author of Not Quite the Classics and winner of Prime Video’s LOL: Last One Laughing Canada. He co-created and stars in HYPROV (Improv Under Hypnosis) with hypnotist Asad Mecci, which has enjoyed international tours, an Off-Broadway run, and a Las Vegas residency.
